Vision Statement

Mission Valley Jr/Sr High School will inspire students to succeed in areas of academic achievement, social-emotional awareness, and college and career readiness. The Mission Valley Jr/Sr High School comprehensive school counseling program will enable the school counseling department to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, parents and the community. This will enable the students to achieve lifelong preparatory skills and abilities to address and achieve future goals/outcomes.

The comprehensive school counseling program will assist students to identify, adapt, and overcome future barriers that lead to social and emotional preparedness. Through advocacy, leadership, and collaboration, the Mission Valley Jr/Sr High School will promote resiliency and a drive to become lifelong learners. These outcomes will be observed and achieved through continuous improvement supported by data.
