Mrs. Kelly Hoelting has been nominated as a finalist for the prestigious honor of being named Kansas Secondary Teacher of the Year!
Mrs. Deb VanCleave has been nominated for the Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching for her long lasting dedication to education and her students!

Parent Teacher Conferences Spring 2021
-February 24th and 25th from 4pm-8pm.
-Parents can attend in person or virtually to meet with your students advisor.
-7th-11th Grade will be student led like seniors did in the Fall. Seniors will meet in order to finish up their checklist.

Please ignore the previous message that was sent out regarding tonight's basketball games. We just completed our hook up with the NFHS, so you will no longer need to log into 'You Tube' to view our games.
- Our Home games will be broadcast without a need for a subscription (you MIGHT have to pay on Away games if they use the NFHS network, and that school chose not to pay the subscription fee. We can't do anything about that).
- Create a login for the NFHS network.
- Search for Mission Valley High School
- Check Follow.
- You will see our games pop up when it is time.
- Game times for tonight are 5:00 for JV Girls, 6:00 For Varsity Girls, and 7:30 for Varsity Boys (Game times are normally 4:30; 6:00 & 7:30).

Main Gym 4:45 start:
MV Basketball heads to Madison this evening with games beginning @ 4:45. The Main Gym will have JV boys followed by Varsity girls then Varsity boys. This gym will be live streamed through NFHS (go to Madison website).
The JV girls and 'C' boys will play in the Aux. Gym beginning @ 4:45 with the JV girls playing 2 quarters followed by the 'C' boys. This gym will not be streamed unless they can find someone to stream it.
Congratulations to the MVHS Wrestlers @ the Wabaunsee Duals this past Saturday. The wrestlers had a GREAT day as every wrestler finished .500 or above:
- Hope Blake finished 3-0 and is currently 10-0 overall;
- Emma Slade finished 4-1 and is 4-3 overall;
- Justice Dunbar finished 2-2 and is 8-3 overall
- Laken Lewis finished 4-1 and is 9-5 overall
- Jon Grame finished 3-2 and is 12-2 overall
- Nolan Parker finished 5-0 and is 8-0 overall
The Wrestlers will be at Silver Lake this Saturday for Districts! Great job Vikes & Good Luck Saturday!
