Congratulations goes to senior Beau Throckmorton for being one of the Rudd Foundation 50 Finalists for the 2021 Rudd Scholarship. He goes to the next round of interviewing. If selected, he will be one of 25 students being awarded a full scholarship to ESU, FHSU, or WSU.

Seniors – Just a reminder to not wait until the end of the year to turn in your Community Service Hours if you are working towards the Diploma of Distinction. You must have 10 hours of community service each year. Forms are available in the office. As of right now only one senior has turned in hours for their junior year and no one has turned in any hours for their senior year.
Sign up on the office counter by 10 a.m. on Thursday if you want a Saturday meal to be picked up after school on Friday.

Congrats to the MV Lady Vikes on their 1st Rd. victory over Council Grove at the Flint Hills Shootout, 39-26. The Lady Vikes will play again this Thursday.
Lady Vikings are up 26-16 at halftime.
Mission Valley will be conducting an Early Childhood Screening for students ages 3-5 who reside in the district on March 25th. Each appointment will last approximately one hour.

Here are the HS FHL Brackets for this week. Girls will play Monday @ Northern Heights at 6:00 (play CG on Mon. @ NH); 2nd round girls games will be on Thursday. The boys will play Tuesday @ Osage City (play CC on Tues. @ OC); 2nd round boys games will be on Friday. Updated brackets will be available throughout the week.
The MVJH Boys lost to West Franklin in the FHJL League Championship game, 29-39. Congrats on a great season Vikings!

Viking Family--Due to the weather and road conditions that continue to deteriorate, USD 330 Mission Valley will be dismissing students today, January 15th @ 2:30 p.m. All activities, practices and events scheduled for today have been cancelled. USD 330 Mission Valley schools will resume on Tuesday, January 19th.
