Seniors/Parents: If you want to save some money in application fees, Mission Valley will be holding ApplyKS day on October 8, 2024 so that the students can create their FSAID, complete their portion of the FAFSA application, and start applying for colleges, universities, employers, and/or the military if they so choose. Parents are more than welcome to attend this event as it lasts from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. This date coincides with the Kansas Apply Free Days from October 7th-9th, 2024. The Apply Free Days provides 3 days where the application fee is waived. More information will be coming out the closer we get to the date. ~~ Mr. Hancock

Fall sports practice begins on Monday, August 19th. Please make sure to have physicals and appropriate paperwork turned in. Students that do not have a physical on file will not be allowed to practice.
There will be no weights, conditioning or workouts tomorrow. They will resume next Monday. The boys will have weights at 5:30 pm next week.

Due to the forecasted prediction of higher temperatures next week, Mission Valley’s Youth Football Camp will now start at 6:30pm, Monday July 15th - Wednesday July 17th, located on the turf football field at the school. High school football camp will follow youth camp. Safety is always a priority and we will be prepared with cooling stations and lots of cold water.

VIKING FAMILY---BHS Construction and sub-contractors have been working hard to wrap up the facility project at Mission Valley. Here are some pictures of what is going on at the school as they work on the secure entrance, 7-12 administrative office area, teacher workroom, science rooms, etc... Everything appears to be on-time with substantial completion to be done around August 1st.
