Today, we had our annual Veterans Day assembly. Thank you to all our veterans past and present!

Congratulations to our Scholars Bowl team!
It was a good experience for our JV to compete with Varsity teams tonight. Our Varsity had an awesome night after getting top 2 in our pool of 7, progressing to semi-finals, and then beating Northern Heights for 1st place!!!
The Golden Girls will be holding their annual dance clinic for 3 year olds through 6th graders. (See flyer for details)
Our JH basketball games with Wabaunsee on Monday will have the following schedule:
4:30 A team girls and B team boys
A team boys and B team girls will follow immediately after the first game in each gym.
There will be no C team games.

Second grade had an amazing Field Trip to the Flint Hills Discovery Center in Manhattan today! We learned about animals native to our area, played in a construction area and did a scavenger hunt! We finished the day with a wonderful lunch at Applebees!!
The last day for the NHS canned food drive is Friday. We are competing with Wabaunsee to see who can get the most donations. The winning class for the elementary and JH/HS will receive an ice cream party. (See flyer for more details)
Our JH basketball teams travel to Osage City today. The B team games start at 4:30.

Six students out of Mrs. Brungardt’s American Government class served as student poll workers for the Youth Election Service yesterday in Eskridge, Harveyville, and Maple Hill! Thank you to the Wabaunsee County Clerk, Abby Amick, for giving our students the opportunity to get involved at the local level!
