Viking Family---The USD 330 Special Board Meetings scheduled for Monday, Jan 12th and Wednesday, Jan 14th have been cancelled. The BOE will use the special board meetings on Tuesday, Jan 13th, Thursday, January 15th, and Friday, January 16th to conduct interviews with the selected candidates. These meetings will begin at 5:30 p.m. for the purpose of allowing the BOE to conduct interviews of the candidates for the superintendent position opening.

Our HS basketball teams play at Pomona on Tuesday against West Franklin. The JV games start at 4:30. There will be 2 quarters of a C boys game following the JV boys.

We will be hosting the JH league basketball tournament this week. Games are on Monday, Thursday and Saturday. NO PASSES ARE ACCEPTED!
The JH girls play their first game at 3:00 pm on Monday and the boys play their first game at approximately 4:15.

Mission Valley High School is planning our annual Community Clean-Up Day.
On April 10th students will be sent out to Eskridge, Harveyville, and Dover to help clean along streets/ditches, but we would like to help in specific areas if we are needed.
If you live, have a business, or are in charge of a recreational area in one of the towns and would like help cleaning/sprucing up your place, please contact Sami Logan (slogan@mv330.org). Please note that we cannot go inside residences, climb ladders, or use power tools.

Thursday, we will be having our 8th grade recognition for our basketball players, managers and cheerleaders. It will be immediately following the A girls game. We are estimating around 6:30, but it will depend on how fast the games go.
