FAFSA Completion Event

This event is specifically for the seniors and their parents to learn the "in's & out's" of the FAFSA application, process, and multiple resources to complete the FAFSA application to include the GoingMerry 'The FAFSA Made Easier' web based program.

Seniors are provided a template, using the GoingMerry website, that eliminates the confusion and complexity of completing the FAFSA (Free Application to Federal Student Aid). Not all students may want to go to college, but completing the FAFSA is a major process that it definitely is better to "have and not need, than need and not have".

If a student applies for FAFSA it does "NOT" mean they have to attend college. Completing the FAFSA "WILL" provide students with an opportunity for funding that can and does 'dry up'. Those that complete their FAFSA late in the year may not be able to receive funding that those who applied early will receive.
