I hope that you and your family have had a summer filled with fun memories and adventures, whether they were near or far. The 2024-2025 school year is quickly approaching and with that comes both the excitement and anticipation of what lies ahead. 

First, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Andrew Singleton, and I have the honor of serving as the next principal of Mission Valley Jr./Sr. High School. For the past 10 years, I have worked as a teacher, instructional coach, and most recently as an assistant principal in USD 450-Shawnee Heights. Throughout my career, I have focused on supporting teachers and students in identifying their current reality and taking steps to improve their practice or mastery of a topic. I am excited to walk alongside our students, families, and staff as we navigate today’s realities and prepare students to engage with an ever-changing world.

As the next few weeks pass, please don’t hesitate to approach me at events or to reach out. I am very eager to get to know you and our students.
