Lady Vikings Softball vs Council Grove has been CANCELLED for today (April 30th) and has been rescheduled of Monday (May 6th) beginning @ 4:30 p.m. We will finish the varsity game and play (1) JV game.

JV Viking Baseball vs Council Grove in Eskridge has been CANCELLED for today (April 30th) due to wet field conditions. A decision will be made later today regarding Viking Softball vs Council Grove.
Due to the poor weather forecasted for tomorrow, the Water Festival for 3rd and 4th grades has been CANCELLED! It will NOT be rescheduled.
The Stride for Maisie Pride 5k/25k is quickly approaching. The walk/race is in conjunction with Maisie 100 mile gravel race. All proceeds from both of these go towards the Maisie Pool in Eskridge. The pool is FREE to all who attend all summer long, so it is through events like these that help to keep the pool opening and running for all to enjoy. Join us for a beautiful walk/run around the lake for the 5k or out on gravel for the 25k. You can register online or through Mrs. Hoelting. On Wednesday, Mrs. Meek had an Alternative Prom in the Elementary Library for several of our students with some special guests from St. Mary's. There was food, dancing and fun enjoyed by all! We would like to thank Emma, Karlyn, Sydney, Paige, Kiki and Brogan for their help. And all the elementary for their Red Carpet welcome!
The High School and Junior High participated in Community Clean Up last Friday.
The MV Lady Viking Softball teams will play their makeup games against Council Grove on Tuesday, April 30th at Harveyville with the Varsity playing their last 2.5 innings at 3:30, followed by the JV doubleheader at approx. 4:30. We hope you can come support the Lady Vikes!
Tomorrow, Friday, is the HS/JH Community Service Day. From 8:30 - 11:30 the HS will be working in Harveyville while the JH will be working at school. Students need to arrive to school on time. Students can bring school appropriate work clothes, gloves etc. We are proud that are Vikings help our communities.
Tonight is MV Softball's last home game & Senior Night. Come support our Vikings as they face West Franklin @ 4:30 & 6:00 in Harveyville. Seniors Lizzy & Daylee will be honored & recognized for all their hard work over the last 4 years. We would love to see the stands packed!

MV Juniors lining up out the door to sign up for Reality University coming on May 2, 2019! Reality University is a full day of courses, taught by local & state professionals, in order to help the students develop 'adulting' skills to prepare them for post-secondary activities.
