The JH Girls & Boys Basketball teams will play their final Home game tonight against Council Grove. We will recognize the 8th grade BB players, managers and cheerleaders immediately following the ‘A’ Girls game at approx. 6:30. We look forward to seeing you tonight!

Vikings Family: This week we have two home games! Tuesday we play Lyndon, the theme for this game is Jersey Night. Mission Valley fans and students wear old basketball jerseys, away jerseys etc. Friday we play Council Grove, the theme for friday is Greek Night. Live the Greek life for one night and wear toga's, hair wreaths, and sandals. I hope to see everyone in the viking spirit this week!!

We also have HS Wrestling at Burlington on Saturday at 9:00 am, for the Burlington Invitational.

School Resumes Monday, January 6th, and kicks off a busy week of basketball. We have home Basketball games on Monday, Tuesday & Friday. Our JH Basketball team will play Monday at Mission Valley at 4:30 against Council Grove. HS Basketball will play Tuesday at Mission Valley at 4:45 against Lyndon. JH Basketball team will play Thursday at Lyndon @ 4:30 pm. HS Basketball will play Council Grove at Mission Valley @ 4:45 pm on Friday.

MVHS BB hosts Central Hts. this evening with JV beginning @ 4:45. Immediately following the Varsity Girls game we will honor the 2018-19 State Qualifying Boys team. Hope you can come support Viking basketball in their final game of 2019!

The Elementary students participated this month in Project Linus. Project Linus is a non-profit organization that provides homemade blankets to children in need, whether they are in the hospital, foster care, etc. Each of the classrooms put together tie blankets to donate. Mrs. Lowe's Math class helped in cutting the blankets so the elementary students could tie them.

Although it's Winter Break we still have activities going on tonight: HS Wrestling Streumph Inv. @ St. Mary’s HS @ 3:00 pm HS Basketball vs. Central Heights V/JV/C @ Mission Valley @ 4:45 pm Don't forget for the HS game tonight to dress up in your Christmas gear, Ugly Sweater, and Christmas headwear!

The MVHS Wrestling team will compete at St. Mary’s tomorrow (Friday) beginning at 5:00 pm. The Meet was previously listed as being at Rossville. Good Luck Vikings!!!

Hello Vikings, This Friday we have another home game against Central Heights. We would like to see everyone decked out in the Christmas spirit with the theme of Santa and his helpers. We would like students to dress up like Santa, his helpers or to wear an ugly Christmas sweater. If community members would wear Christmas sweaters, shirts or Christmas head wear, that would be awesome. We hope to see everyone in the Viking Holiday Spirit!! Go Vikes!!

Just a reminder that our 7-12 Grade Music Concert is tomorrow night @ 7:00 pm.

We would like to thank everyone who donated toys for the Elementary Rescue Mission Christmas Project. Barry Feaker of the Rescue Mission was extremely thankful for our donations.

HS Basketball vs. Chase County V/JV/C @ Chase County - 4:45 pm

USD 330 Mission Valley will NOT be in session on Monday, December 16th due to poor weather and road conditions. All activities and events are cancelled for tomorrow as well.

Congratulations to the MV Wrestling team on their 5th place finish (out of 11 teams) at the Melvin Douglas Inv. @ Highland Park. Ind. places: : Caleb Lisk 152 2nd place. Lakin Lewis 195 2nd place. Justice Dunbar 170 1st place. Nolan Parker 285 1st place. Great job wrestlers!
