Mission Valley hosted the Flint Hills League Art Show today! There were pieces from every school in the league and all students that attended were able to attend multiple workshops.

Seniors/Senior's Parents & Guardians: The 2025 Mission Valley Senior College/Career Signing Day is just around the corner on April 22, 2025 from 1 p.m. - 2 p.m. in the north gymnasium. This day is a day for you/your student, your family, and the rest of the school to help you celebrate your post-secondary educational decision. You can participate through a letter-of-intent with a specific college's athletic department, participate by signing your intent to a specific college, or by showing your commitment to a specific military branch or employer all on the same day at the same location! Thursday, our baseball and softball teams will be taking on Chase County. We will be having our senior recognition immediately following the conclusion of the first game on each field. They will most likely not be at the same time.

Due to unforseen events, the 5th grade didn't get to finish their StarBase experience. Today, StarBase came to Mission Valley to launch the rockets we built while we were there.
We are excited to have Colby Community College Head Women's Coach, Mike Ruiz, setting up a camp for wrestlers of all ages and skill levels on June 2nd, 12pm- 5pm at Mission Valley.

Due to low projected numbers with JH girls volleyball, we will be allowing 6th graders to play next year. We anticipate this being only one year, but will reevaluate each spring.
Incoming 6th graders will need to get a physical done on or after May 1st before they can practice.
Volleyball camp will be June 9th and 10th from 9-11 am.
The first day of practice is Monday, August 18th and the last day of the season is Saturday, October 18th. During this time, no players are allowed to practice or play on outside teams (for example Sportszone or Club Teams).

Reminder... MVE Spring Concert will be this Wednesday (April 16). Students are asked to wear concert attire (dark pants/jeans, dress, etc) & gather on the west end of the main gym 15 min before show time.
