HS wrestling at Burlington has been postponed until tomorrow. Both boys and girls will be tomorrow and it will be varsity only, no JV.

The JH boys and girls basketball teams finished the regular season tonight with wins over North Lyon County. They are scheduled to be in action again next Monday at Council Grove for the A team tournament. Go Vikings!

Here are some photos of our Chemistry and Physics students. They are working on a lab to calculate friction on various surfaces and a POGIL activity using cards of different colors and sizes to show how iconic compounds form and how chemical formulas are written. GO VIKINGS!

We are so excited to have our first day of classes in the new CTE addition! We are waiting on some desks and chairs to finish off the rooms, but have been able to make it work. What a great day to be a Viking! Onward Vikings Onward!

Students/Parents: If your student is enrolled in a college course through ACC, please do not pay for your college class(es) just yet. Payment is not required until 1/16/2024. Around 1/7 or 1/8, the new tuition rate should be adjusted and ready for you to view. MVHS will send out another announcement when your course/fee statement is updated to reflect the $50 per credit hour rate. This is only for courses that require payment, anyone taking a CTE class does not need to pay a tuition fee.

The MVHS basketball teams are hosting an alumni scrimmage fundraiser on Friday, December 29th. Soup, dessert and drinks will be served with a suggested donation of $5 per person. The meal will start at 6:00 with the girls scrimmage vs alumni beginning at 6:30 and the boys following. Any alumni are allowed to participate and do not have to sign up. We are planning to play 2-20 minute running halves. If you have questions, please contact Ben Packard or Jordan Hysten.
