Students in the Agricultural Structures and Electricity class got an up-close view of the new construction for the CTE building. Drew Deters with BHS, talked about the different types of electrical wiring and its purpose along with other construction techniques and policies. Thank you to BHS for their willingness to share and educate our students at MV! We are lucky to have Drew onsite during this process!

Viking Family---Here are some updated pictures of the new Oberhelman Family Field, track and shots of the softball/baseball field complex. The football field is nearing 100% completion and the track will have the new all-weather surface installed the week of the September 18th. Work on the softball & baseball fields will continue throughout the Fall. Workers are busy setting posts, installing mow strips, and pouring concrete. Soon they will be installing the new light poles and well as putting sod down in the outfields toward the middle to end of the month. GO VIKINGS **Drone pictures provided by Mr. Richard Thompson

Our cross country runners had a good showing at our home meet today. Varsity Girls Ava Boyden placed 8th Lillie Foster placed 11th Bailey Flerlage placed 23rd Varsity Boys Hunter Tenbrink placed 27th Ramsey Sperry placed 31st JH Girls Alaina Boyden placed 11th Our JH is in action next Tuesday at Wamego and the HS runs next Saturday at Wamego. VIKING FAMILY---Here are some pictures updating the facility project. Today the HS & JH Viking football teams were able to practice for the first time on the new Oberhelman Family Field. Crews starting laying asphalt for the new track, goal posts were installed. Inside the new Career Technical Education expansion crews have been busy framing walls and installing infrastructure. Great Things Are Happening in the Valley!!! GO VIKINGS!

USD 330 Mission Valley is currently accepting sealed bids for (3) shop/garage heaters. These heaters were previously used in the Vocational Agriculture building. The (3) heaters will be sold as 1 bid and not (3) separate bids. The heaters were operational when they were removed from the shop. Sealed bids are to be submitted to the USD 330 Mission Valley District Office, 511 East 2nd, Box 158, Eskridge, KS 66423 by noon (12 p.m.) on Friday, September 8th.
