Updated spring sports schedules
Keep in mind that schedules are subject to change, especially with bad weather.
MV would like to extend a BIG thank you to LeAnne, owner of Annie's Barn in Overland Park, KS for including MV students in "Out of the RED" campaign to eliminate negative lunch balances for students K-12!
LeAnne Stowe was recognized on the Senate floor. LeAnn is the founder of Annie’s Barn (an online boutique) and recently brought new meaning to the term “Red Friday!” After their AFC Championship win, LeAnn created a special sign to celebrate the Chief’s victory with the phrase ”Get in Winners. We’re going winning!”. The signs proved extremely popular and LeAnn used the proceeds to pay off lunch debt at Pawnee Elementary and Mission Valley.
LeAnne has plans to make “Get out of the red Friday” a tradition! Great work!
On Wednesday, March 8th some Mission Valley 7th-12th graders will have an early release from school at 245pm. This is a reward for those students who have completed all of their Viking Hour activities through Xello, student-led conferences, and Medal of Honor. Students who did not complete these activities will be in school until 330pm.
If your student rides the bus or can't be picked up until 330pm we will have fun games and activities for them in the gym from 245pm-330pm.
